JOSE COSTA

Jose Costa is a member of Axum’s advisory board.  He brings a long and successful track record of creating value, leading, and driving growth for multi-unit retail organizations, including food and beverage brands and franchised retail organizations. 

Throughout his career, Mr. Costa has effectively developed and implemented integrated strategies, assembled and developed leadership teams and operational initiatives, as well as led the execution and integration of strategic acquisitions and delivered value for stakeholders.  Mr. Costa serves as the Chief Growth Officer for Bojangles.  He also has deep expertise working with private equity owned portfolio companies, both as senior executive and as a board member, including previously for several consumer-focused private equity firms, such as 3G Capital, Harvest Partners, Roark Capital Group, HAL Investments, The Jordan Company, Durational Capital Management and AMCO.

Mr. Costa received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, an MS from Northwestern University Medill School of Journalism, and a BA in Business Administration & Modern Languages from Metropolitan University, Caracas, Venezuela.
